Designed for the Future
The ND300 was designed with expectation of future advancements in technology. A modular design approach to the Next Dimension® Gear Measurement System hardware and software allows for easy system upgrades and expansions. New hardware can be implemented by changing only the interfacing software modules. These modules are tested and proven before integration with our operational platform, giving our customers the latest technology without rewriting the operational system or replacing the entire machine. This modular design allows you to be up-to-date without the extensive time commitment required to upgrade other gear measurement machines on the market.

Easy User Interface
The user interface on the Next Dimension® Gear Measurement Systems is the familiar Microsoft Windows® platform. Once the user enters the minimum gear information in the customizable user interface, the ND300 gear software calculates all the other necessary information for inspecting the gear, making machine operation easy for the user. Part data can be entered online or offline - even while the machine is inspecting another part.

With up-to-date context-sensitive help (pressing F1 brings up area-specific help functions) minimal operator training is required and the user never has to guess what to do next which helps to make your operation more productive and your analysis error-free.

To further enhance your experience, the ND300 Gear Measurement Machine offers:

• The ability to switch between analysis standards (AGMA, ANSI, DIN, ISO, JIS, User Defined) with a single key stroke for quick comparison

Eliminates Shop Floor Corruption of Data
Providing five different user access levels to information on the operating system, the
ND300 Next Dimension® Gear Measurement System provides protection against shop floor corruption of part data. Since part information can only be modified by the chosen authorized user access level, a lower skill level operator can run the gear measurement machine with no increased risk to your operation or data.

 

Thermally Compensated
The thermal compensation of the Next Dimension® Series Gear Measurement Systems compensate for environmental temperature variations that could affect the measurements.

Communicates via USB
The Windows®-based operating system communicates with the machine controller via an off-the-shelf single USB cable.

Network Compatible
Seamless networking provides the capability to store part data and inspection results on your company’s local network.
