• Apply gear design techniques intended to optimize and balance gear strength, size, quietness, and cost to meet your unique requirements

• Assist with issues such as: gear ratio changes, improved strength, and/or improved quietness

• Provide complete gear design specifications and CAD gear profile layouts – for your detail drawings and 3D modeling requirements

• Interface with gear manufacturing and inspection suppliers to assure the quality and performance of your prototype and production gearing

• Provide an analysis of your competitor’s gearing (hardware required), and compare the results to your existing gearing or a new gearing proposal

• Provide insights into how plastic gearing can potentially replace more expensive gear materials and fabrication methods and often result in lower noise, weight, and/or cost

• Present a 4-5 hour “Gear Design Overview" presentation to groups of 10-12
