Gear Inspection Systems:
All Contract Inspection Services are performed on the PECo Next Dimension® ND300 gear inspection system.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The ND300 systems:

• Are extremely accurate – with uncertainties of only ± 0.9 microns on Involute Profile and ± 1.2 microns on Helix as verified with a traceable calibrated artifact to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology)

• Generate extremely accurate verification of gear tooth geometry

• Meet the tightest established accuracy required for gear instruments (Ref: German VDI/VDE, Class 1)
  

Inspection Lab:

The PECo climate controlled Gear Inspection Lab is a vital component of providing you the highly accurate measurements you desire. To eliminate the possibility of any environmental factors affecting your measurements, the 1300 sq. ft. inspection lab is kept at a constant 68°F ±1° volumetric temperature and 45% ± 5% relative humidity.
